Where we are going today

I personally believe Jesus is taking us to a new place in 2022-2023. For the last decade or more so much emphasis has been placed on me, myself, and I. Self-improvement. All you have to do is look at the bookstores. Self-help books flooding the shelves. Why? Why have we focused so much on self-improvement? That is a topic I will cover in a later blog. For this blog, I want to focus on what I believe the church and the body of Christ are heading.

I believe that Jesus wants us to go into a deeper place with Him. I believe He wants to show us his love for us. For us to open up our hearts and love on Him. A heart-to-heart connection. I believe we will see more songs focused on love. More love songs to Him. Psalms style love songs that tell Him how much he means to us, how much we love Him, and how much we need Him. A renewal of our love for Him and His love for us. Quite frankly, we need this. We need Jesus to teach us how to love as He does. An unconditional love that is strong and unwavering. A love that pours out of us as we worship. A love that shows compassion towards others as Jesus did.

There are not enough words in our languages here on Earth to fully describe His love for us. We could never fully comprehend His love for us. I believe He wants to teach us how to love His way. If we can learn to love that much, we can fully pour out love for Him more than we ever have. If we can learn to love that much, we will be connected to Him on a level we could not even imagine.

Today's Prayer

Jesus, we love you! We could never say it enough. We love you!! Jesus, help us learn how to love you more. Our desire is to love you more. Show us more of your heart so that we may love more, show more compassion towards others, and draw closer to you. We hunger and desire more of you. More of your heart. We love you Jesus!
